This role sits within Operations for the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO). DARO develops relationships with our philanthropic supporters, and a community of over 30,000 global alumni. You will develop and implement an effective prospect research strategy supporting LSHTM’s philanthropic ambitions; playing a leading role in identifying new leads from the alumni community, philanthropists, charitable trusts and companies.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this key role informs broader fundraising strategy, working closely across the team to deliver ambitious income targets.

The post-holder should have a minimum of a second-class honours degree along with demonstrable experience of successful prospect research and moves management within academic or charitable fundraising sectors. Further particulars are included in the job description.

The post is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 35 hours and permanent.

The salary will be on the Professional Services scale Grade 5 in the range £37,531-£42,875 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
